Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital (SKMHC), the most credible charitable trust, started by Prime Minister Pakistan Imran Khan has recently thrown a fundraiser gala in the Nordic countries like France, Sweden and Norway. This event took place for the charity through a lavish dinner.

The event was attended and hosted by famed Pakistani actors Sheheryar Munawwar and Maya Ali. Nowadays actors are not limited to media industry only, but with their popularity among people help them to raise funds for any positive cause.

As for that matter, these well-known actors Sheheryar Munawwar and Maya Ali are becoming a part of fundraising for SKMHC to start a journey for the betterment of Pakistan.

Charity work seems to be all the frenzy and we can’t say we’re complaining. Earlier, Sherdil star Armeena Rana Khan toured to Jordan to hand deliver donations and zakaat to the war-torn refugees of Syria. Now, Maya Ali and Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui have announced that they will be collecting funds for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital and Research Centre.

Both Sheheryar Munawwar and Maya Ali told that they will be flying to the various cities of Europe, for instance Paris, Stockholm and Oslo in order to raise donations for third Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital through fundraiser gala dinner.

Recently Maya Ali posted on her Instagram and shared the news of attending the fundraiser in Nordic countries.

She further added “I have seen cancer up close and know the pain of those suffering from it and those who are around them. Hence, this cause is very close to my heart.”

“We are now opening Pakistan’s third Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital in Karachi and need all your support. Please join me this April and help raise funds for poor cancer patients.”

There was also a video message posted by Sheheryar Munawwar on his instagram “I just wanted to reach out to you and let you guys know that I will be travelling to France, Norway and Sweden this April to help raise funds for ShaukatKhanum Memorial Cancer and Research Centre.”

Then he further added in his message “Shaukat Khanum is and has been one of Pakistan’s most credible charitable organisations – one which has served many cancer patients who can’t afford their own treatment. They’ve recently embarked upon the construction of their third hospital in Karachi. It’s a cause for which they are looking to raise funds and it’s a cause which is very close to my heart. So, I’m looking to get help and support from you guys. I look forward to seeing in you France, Norway and Sweden.”
