According to the British newspaper CNN, the organization will donate the money to the indigenous people of Brazil and local companies working on a fire in the Amazon.

This is not the first time that Earth Alliance has emerged. Since its merger with the Conservation Alliance last month, it has helped counter global threats to the planet. This partnership is based on DiCaprio’s emergence and support during the preservation of the planet during climate crises.

The world’s largest Amazon rainforest has been on fire this year at its highest rate since 2013. The Brazilian National Space Research Institute (CNRS) announced that an area equivalent to a football field in the Amazon burns every year, despite its importance in producing about 20% of the Earth’s oxygen. The Amazon forest is called the “Lungs of the Planet”.
