Once again Karan Johar is coming up an extravagant feature film with lots of classical royal touch. Following in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s style and the royal magic, Karan has created the majestic world of royalty.

Karan Johar’s next love tale stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit in leads roles. The venture’s first teaser was recently released by the Karan Johar’s production house Dharma Productions.

Recently the teaser was released and with that makers had also shared the character posters of the film which gave the fans a glimpse into the big-budget drama.

Kalank has been conjointly produced by Karan Johar with Sajid Nadiadwala, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Apoorva Mehta and is written by Abhishek Varman. The music of the film has been done by Pritam, with some special appearances by Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon.

Varun Dhawan, who plays the fierce and brave Zafar, got emotional post the first look release and shared his journey of bringing Zafar alive on the big screen on social media. He seemed very excited for the character and to train for it.

Reuniting on the silver screen after a gap of 21 years in Karan Johar’s period drama Kalank will be having the pleasure to watch our hot favorite iconic onscreen couple of Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit. Both were seen together at the teaser launch of the film and later addressed media questions about them coming back together after such a long gap.

Sanjay is playing the role of Balraj Choudhry. KJo introduced the character as the most powerful voice of the table, the hardcore Balraj Chaudhry in the film. Madhuri is going to be Bahaar Begum, an iconic role which was supposedly be played by late actor Sridevi.

With the look and grandeur of the period drama, it surely looks mesmerizing and will take the audience to another time zone. It is set to release on April 17 this year and is going to take houseful cinemas.
