The new version of the Indian song “Eik do Teen” dating back to the eighties of the last century, more than 22 million views on YouTube in just three days, despite the critical attack and the resentment of fans of the old song.

The song was first released in 1988 and immediately became the focus of the audience, and its singer, Madhuri Dixit, was given great fame and brought to the forefront of Indian cinema.

However, the new version of Jacqueline Fernandez’s song, which premiered on YouTube March 19, has not been admired by fans of the original song.

They launched the song #ekdoteen on Twitter, the same name as the song, expressing their dissatisfaction with the new song.

One user accused Bollywood of trying to destroy his childhood and tampering with his beautiful memories, through a new song that does not resemble the old one.

Some have launched an attack on singer Jacqueline Fernandez, an Indian actress and former queen, but of different origins, the father is Malaysian and the mother is Sri Lankan.

She asked another user why the singer Jacqueline Fernandez was allowed to destroy a famous classic song, like Aik de Tin, for her famous singer Madhuri Dixit.

Another accused Jacqueline of trying to seduce viewers without giving any value. She said the secret to the success of the previous song was that her famous singer Madhuri was not simply a seduction tool, and she did not want to entertain anyone.

Some saw the new song as a contest and competition between Madhuri Dixit and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Even the director of the 1988 film in which the song appeared has said he is unhappy with the new version and plans to “take action” against its makers.
