Fashion Pakistan Week 2019 wrapped up on Thursday night with a big bang, there were many Pakistani celebrities who brightened the ramp for renowned fashion designers.

The three-day event opened with a modest start to the fashion season but it was taken to a new height where celebrities like Maya Ali, Hania Amir, Asim Azhar, Sarah Khan, Azfar Rehman, Sanam Saeed, and Sonya Hussyn walked the ramp as showstoppers towards the end of the show.

Wearing the red embellished bridal dress by Zainab Chottani, Hania Amir walked the ramp with Asim Azhar who sang his latest song ‘Tu Jo Na Mila’ through her walk. Videos of the sparkling chemistry between the two went out like fire where Hania was seen smiling looking at Asim all the way on the ramp.

The next was Sarah Khan and Parishey Adnan who walked the ramp for Huma Adnan as the showstoppers. The Monsoon Bride and monsoon weddings collection depict the freshness of colors and design which embed detailed embroidery in pearls, sequins, and beads. The idea was to keep the essence of The Monsoon Bride, where a modern woman dazzles on her special day and also be comfortable carrying off her ensemble.

Famous designer Nomi Ansari presents vibrant designs at the runway on the 3rd Day of the event. Nomi Ansari’s rendition of colors and style has always swept off the audience; with an array of colorful, vibrant pieces he used the fusion of Sindhi culture and mirror work with couture finishing. His collection included vibrant attires ranging from lehnga cholis to tailed gowns; each ensemble had the finesse of couture finishing. Maya Ali as the showstopper looked beautiful; the freshness of her couture reflected her vibrant overall look.

Under the banner of ‘Message from the East’ designers, Sana and Sanfinaz opened with a solo exhibition. Famous for their fusion work they bring the aesthetics of the west woven into the ensembles of the east. The designs had a sparkling sequin and blended color palette. Some solids include such as black, maroon, turquoise and purple, whereas sprinkled onto a pastel palette there were powder pinks to icy blues, mauves, and mint greens. Ranging from shirts to borders and shararas and pastel floral dresses they have it all.
